Steve Neaves is one of the UK’s premier portrait and special effects photographers. After training as a photographer, Steve began his award winning creative career as an Art Director working within London based publishing giants such as Time Warner & Dennis Publishing. He eventually moved back behind the lens, and has continued to impress with his trademark flair and style ever since.

Steve’s unique filmic approach, allied with the enthusiasm and dedication he brings to each project has seen him work with many heavyweight talents, including Steve Carell, Eddie Redmayne, Idris Elba, Andy Serkis, Ray Winstone, and musicians as varied as Muse, Dionne Warwick, Liam Gallagher, The Black Keys and Tinie Tempah.

Part of his success has been his willingness to embrace new technologies and methods, and he’s now built up an impressive portfolio of work as a motionographer – using pioneering Red epic camera technology to simultaneously shoot hi-res print stills and moving images.
